Mushroom Substrates

Booming Acres mushroom substrates make it easier to match your base to the type of mushroom you’re cultivating. For gourmet projects or wood-loving varieties, choose sterilized hardwood sawdust substrate. You can also go with our popular Master’s Mix, a 50/50 blend of sawdust and soy hulls that works as a powerful mushroom grow substrate for all wood loving varieties. Want to grow a dung-loving mushroom but don’t want to handle manure yourself? CVG combines coco coir, vermiculite, gypsum, and azomite, making it a popular pick for dung-loving varieties! All mushroom substrates come in 3lb and 5lb bags so that you can start small or go big.
